I’ve always had an interest in the creative aspects of video and presenting ideas from the brain to a screen where others can see it. This interest became a career pursuit and led me to the Art Institute of Seattle, where I graduated with a degree in Video Production. While the education is necessary and vital to succeed in the field, it’s the willingness to grow WITH the ever-advancing technology that makes the large gap between the average videographer and the professional. For this reason, my wife (Alissa) calls me a technology-nerd, but I will wear the title proudly if it means that I can continue to do what I love, and that is produce quality films. -ryan
Wife. Mom. Videographer. I'm beyond grateful to wear these titles. By default, I’m a lover of the unique. The inventive. The eye-catching. I find so much joy in experiencing this field’s many angles. There’s a distinct difference between something you do as a means to an end, and something you do purely for the thrill, challenge, and delight of it. It’s the destination versus the journey. For Ryan and I, the journey itself is the most exhilarating part. That's why Ferguson Films exists. It brings so much joy to us and to our clients - we could not be more grateful to do something we both truly love. -alissa
